About Me
Mun Sek Kim is dedicated to pioneering advancements in energy storage systems. His extensive research portfolio encompasses electrode interphases, electrolytes, separators, interfacial engineering, nanotechnologies, and adaptable nanomaterials for next-generation battery technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, an M.S. from Cornell University, and a B.S. from UC Berkeley. He served as a research scientist at Korea Institute of Science and Technology in lieu of military service. He was a senior scientist on the electrolyte team at SES AI. He is currently an incoming Nanyang Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University.
